Having a Voice Matters

It can be difficult to truly understand what having a disability is like unless you're dealing with it yourself, and it's also true that everyone has a different journey and experience with their disability. That's one reason why it's so important for everyone to have a chance to communicate about their experience! This volume showcases more about how people with disabilities can speak up (literally or figuratively!), challenge preconceptions, share their stories and experiences, and advocate for themselves and others. It also shows how others can help amplify and boost their voices to be better allies.
