Learning about food can be fun—and delicious! This book introduces beginning readers to reading food words, and signing them using American Sign Language (ASL), the language commonly used by the deaf community. Each food word is accompanied by a matching photograph to aid in word recognition. Illustrations and pictures of the correct hand placement and movement for the ASL translation is also available, giving readers another way to communicate the foods they want.
