Margaret Hillert's Dear Dragon: First Times
The stories in the First Times series are about a boy trying new things for the first time with his dragon, friends and family. These Beginning-to-Read books help beginning readers on their way to independent reading. This popular series meets the Common Core State Standards for Language Arts and can be used with beginning readers to practice reading high frequency words, expand comprehension and improve oral language skills.
