Writing in Ancient China

Modern Chinese writing has changed very little since its ancient beginnings. The ancient Chinese were major contributors to the development of the written word. In addition to a complex writing system, they created an early form of paper as well as the printing press. Easy-to-read text and beautiful photographs, illustrations, and maps will intrigue young readers.
