It can be extremely difficult to understand how and why a loved one becomes addicted to drugs or alcohol. When addiction hits close to home, teens must face a multitude of feelings and uncomfortable situations. Knowing how to help and how not to help a loved one who is addicted, and understanding that addiction is a disease, will give teens the comfort and support they need in this difficult time.
