Book review:
Kung Fu
"A volume in the
Kid's Guide to Martial Arts series from Rosen's PowerKids line, this offers a
simple introduction to the venerable Chinese martial art. ... pages are heavily
illustrated with full-color photographs, principally of young people
demonstrating various moves. That the book is targeted at both boy and girl
readers is evidenced by the presence of girls in many of the pictures. Simple
and straightforward, the accompanying text is a good complement to the
information-filled pictures. A glossary, index, and brief bibliography are
appended to this useful survey."
