Immigration and the Slave Trade

Not everyone who came to America and who had a significant impact on the world we know today arrived by choice. In this title, students will learn what life was like for these forced immigrants to a hostile land. They will also learn how these enslaved people held on to their dignity and traditions against all odds, under the worst possible conditions. All this is illustrated through compelling primary source imagery and documents.
