The Hmong
A distinct ethnic group that has lived for thousands of years in China, and more recently in Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam, many Hmong have emigrated to North America, forming strong communities. Although scattered geographically, the Hmong strive to maintain their unique traditions, music, and artistic style of embroidery.
