Blackbeard
He was born Edward Teach and became one of the most feared pirates ever to set sail. This book follows the man called Blackbeard as he rules the seas and raids the coast of the Carolinas from 1716 to 1718. He even holds the whole city of Charleston for ransom before purposefully running his ship aground. Kids will be fascinated to read about the lifetime of adventures and the dramatic end of the captain of the Queen Anne's Revenge.
