Origami Army

Readers will use the Japanese art of origami, or paper folding, to create vehicles, weapons, and insignia associated with the branches of the United States military. Basic techniques, such as easy folds and tips for success, are shown in the opening pages of each book. Clear illustrations show each step, and are accompanied by easy-to-follow textual instructions for creating ships, tanks, airplanes, and other high-interest military accessories. Patterned papers and color photographs depicting the finished product provide further inspiration for origami enthusiasts.
