Gerald R. Ford was born Leslie Lynch King, Jr. After his parents' divorce, his mother married a man named Gerald R. Ford--and changed her 2-year-old son's name to match that of her new husband! Ford is the only president whose library and museum are in two different cities, Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, Michigan. These are just a few of the interesting and little-known facts that young readers will learn about Ford.
