The Nile

The Longest River

The longest river really starts out as two rivers--the Blue Nile and the White Nile. They become one river in the country of Sudan. This 30-million-year-old river is one of the few rivers to flow from south to north. The story of the Nile flows from ancient history to modern-day technology.
