About Us
The Rosen Publishing Group, Inc. was founded by Richard and Ruth Rosen in 1950, and to this day remains a family-owned, independently-run company.

In 1980, the Rosens asked their youngest son, Roger, to take over the enterprise. This was an easy transition for Roger. He had completed his education at the University of Michigan and the University of London, and had traveled and taught around the world. His early training picking and packing books at his family's warehouse along with his education and travels had instilled in him a passion to create books that inspire, teach, and motivate kids throughout their formative years.

Known for its high-quality guidance, curriculum-based, and high-interest books for children in grades PreK–12, Rosen Publishing quickly became a leader in the educational publishing industry.

Featuring more than 200 new books a year, PowerKids Press presents a wide range of subjects for children in grades PreK–6.

With the addition of 100 new books a year, Rosen Central features high-interest books as well as books that directly support the core science and social studies content students in grades 5–8 are studying.

At 100 books a year, Rosen’s Young Adult list is one of the most substantive available for students in grades 7–12. Including at-level and high/low books, the list supports students of all reading and learning abilities.

Rosen Publishing Online launched its first online database in January 2007. A comprehensive collection of health and guidance articles for students ages 12–18, the Teen Health & Wellness Database has received much acclaim from librarians and students alike.

Rosen’s Spanish-language imprint, Editorial Buenas Letras, is dedicated to providing high-quality bilingual and Spanish-language books for students in grades PreK–12. Each book features text adapted into standardized Spanish, and specifically targets the interests and curriculum content that today’s Spanish-speaking students need to succeed academically.

For more than 27 years, Roger Rosen has sought to maintain the company his parents established. Constantly reinvesting the company's profits into the family business, Roger is dedicated to the company's growth. Today Rosen Publishing is recognized as one of the largest and most respected publishers of nonfiction books in the country.
