Carnivores in the Food Chain
Who are the carnivores? Tigers and lions, of course, but what about the housecat, the praying mantis, and the Venus's-flytrap? Students will be amazed at the number of creatures that fall into the category of carnivore. Carnivores can be primary consumer carnivores like the weasel, which eats herbivores, or secondary consumer carnivores such as the snowy owl, which eats both herbivores and other carnivores.
